But no man is the first inventor of the pump, long before mankind on our planet already existed a “live” pumps – trees. The trunk of the tree consists of a system of vertical tubes in which water is transferred from roots to leaves. Tiny pores on the leaves under the influence of solar energy evaporates some of the water accumulated in the leaf and the remaining water molecules attract moisture from the bottom.
