PEX pipes

PEX pipes

Pipes made of PEX on the market are single layer and multilayer structures.

Multi-layer PEX pipes are represented by three species, which have the following characteristics:

-Top of a thick-walled working PPRC pipe with an adhesive mounted aluminum foil, which is covered with a thin layer of PEX,

- Connection pipe, foil and a protective layer is made with perforated holes in the foil (tube Stabi);

- Between layers of plastic core is a layer of less plastic material (pipe Faser).

Pipes of PP usually have a length of 4 m, diameter up to 125 mm. Connection pipes and fittings made of thermoplastic welding. To connect the fittings are threaded, which allows you to connect pipes from PP to the existing metal piping. Such pipes are used for hot and cold water, heating and transportation of various substances, including chemically aggressive.

When selecting from the entire arsenal of PEX pipes the best option – PEX pipes (PP). They are suitable for both cold and hot water and heating systems. High reliability is achieved by connecting these pipes diffuse welding, which allows us to obtain high-strength monolithic connection. PP pipes do not corrode, does not release harmful impurities that are durable and long lasting. To reduce the temperature of the water in the pipelines are designed elevators jetting.

PEX tube for radiant heating

PEX tube lungs and at the same time sufficiently strong, it is also important during the loading and unloading, and at the time of delivery, and during installation. Of course, labor costs when working with these products is much less compared to assembly and delivery of steel pipe. It is important also that of the mounting does not require special skills, enough to carefully study the instructions and try to follow it. As a rule, all foreign manufacturers are described in detail and colorfully illustrated by such instructions. So to understand the recommendations of the installation will not be difficult and will not take much time.

Typically, cross-linked PEX pipes are available in the so-called bays. Most often, the bays are 50 m long, sometimes can be up to 200 m, but under a special order and up to 1000 m.

We can say that the flexibility of cross-linked PEX pipes can save money on buying connective fittings. There is experience, when the pipes from the basement to “warm floor” on the second floor were built without additional connections. As for the PEX fittings and fasteners, then their range is incredibly broad and diverse.
